One Half-Term Notice

Update to the Registration Terms and Conditions

We have updated our Registration T&S as we are changing to a One half-term notice period for informing us when you no longer need your Art Bee Club place.

For example if you decided you no longer wish to attend The Art Bee Club then you should let us know one half term in advance.

Notice Period:
One Half-Term

Why we are making this change…

Sometimes we begin the new half term only to find out a place is no longer needed but we had not been informed.

This has a few knock effects:
(Not to mention the existing T&C’s stating that payment for the full term is still actually due)

  • A wasted empty place which could have been filled from the reserve list.
  • We will have prepped and accounted for the place, so wasted resources and time.
  • When we offer the place to the next on our reserve list that family may already have arranged alternative after school care. So it very late notice for them too.

So really it is just a small change, just better wording.

  • If you no longer need your place then let us know one half term in advance.
  • This gives everybody more time to plan, you, us and the reserve list Art Bee.

We know that sometimes things need to change more quickly than this and so of course we will assist in every way we can.

Generally speaking this change will have very little effect – as only on a few occasions does this occur.

So apologies for the few affecting the many but hopefully you can appreciate that we wanted to make this clearer.

Please let me know if you have any questions at all,

Emily.

Daisy First Aid

Both Emma and I were due to refresh our first aid certificates this month and we decided to increase our level of training beyond that which we used to have as primary school class teachers and to advance our previous emergency first aid certification… we were really excited to book a Daisy First Aid course.

Daisy First Aid is an amazing (award winning) franchise business running first aid courses not just for schools and childcare providers but for parents too.

Our instructor Lindsay (Daisy First Aid Fordingbridge) was absolutely brilliant and we thoroughly enjoyed learning so much from her. She shared a wealth of experience, skills and knowledge which has given us increased confidence for our own work and family lives.

So after completing our 6 hours online learning followed by 6 hours instructor training with Lindsay we are now both very proud to be:

Daisy First Aid

-Platinum-
Level 3

Paediatric First Aid Certified

Which is also CPD Accredited, Ofsted recognised and HSE Compliant.

We would highly recommend you take a look the Daisy First Aid website https://www.daisyfirstaid.com.

Also their social media is really worth looking at too as they post a lot of help and advice there and finally this video below is a great intro to Daisy First Aid:

Please continue to cut grapes up!
